It's all very embarrassing.
Aside from that, my Mother's Day was great! The boys and my husband woke me up with flowers and breakfast, and later that afternoon we all napped in various parts of the house, falling asleep wherever we lay, relaxing. And for some of us, peeing. But that's besides the point.
I also spent a good portion of my day prepping for an interview that will probably mark the peak of my blogging career. (So, I guess this is goodbye?) And without totally geeking out on you, let me just say:
I TOTALLY HAVE DR. BILL SEARS' CELL PHONE NUMBER.
Yes, THAT Dr. Sears.
I plan on calling him later to chat about my son's eczema. But, for serious, I actually interviewed him, and you can read that piece on MamaPop. It was incredibly awesome, Dr. Sears is very sweet and chatty, and my son only tried to sabatoge the interview once by spilling water on my laptop.
I call that a success!
I'm also over at The Mouthy Housewives today, as we celebrate our 3rd birthday! During birthday week, each of the Mouthies poses a question to the readers in a classic case of the ol' switcheroo. I'm asking for help today on how to successfully, and simultaneously, run a household, work from home, manage two hyperactive little angels, and starve myself to death on a juice cleanse. You gotta help me out!
Beyond those fun things, I'm trying to get the house in order for a visit from my mom and step-dad. I could not be more excited to have them, and I'm wondering how I might be able to disappear from the house for a shopping excursion with my mom and somehow get stranded at an undisclosed location for a week or so. Let me know if you have any ideas. Also, if you could come help me clear out the garbage heap that is our guest bedroom?
But enough about me, how are you guys doing?
