It's My Party & I'll Sleep if I Want to

I have a pretty awesome husband, Internet. Did you know that?  Look what I got for my birthday! (I mean, YES, he's good for lots of other reasons, too. BUT THIS HELPS.)

It couldn't be any more beautiful. (Unless maybe it was being worn by a unicorn.)

As does THIS:

Am eating myself into a chocolate-induced coma as we speak. (Someone should maybe come check on the children.)

And because I'm too tired to host a party in honor of my birth, I'll just give you some gift bags. Except they're not so much PHYSICAL BAGS as they are video clips from the Internet. Ahem.

(If you follow me on the Twitter, you saw this the other day. But IT'S STILL FUNNY. And you know what else is funny terrifying? This video of a freaky-ass human-looking robot.) Preview:

OMFG. ::shudder::

And with that, I'll be over here napping. Actually, I have to change the cat litter first.

Man. Birthday's just ain't what they used'ta be.

  2. Happy birthday! That is some necklace you got there, and some husband too. Although he did blow it by not presenting it to you actually on a unicorn. We can't have it all :) Indulge in the sleep and cake. Have a great one!

  7. Happy birthday! Mine was on the 5th and although I did have an awesome dinner out with a group of friends, and even got to "sleep in" until 8:30, I agree that bdays are not what they used to be. I had to eat cake for breakfast (I know, cry me a freaking river) because L was having a conniption from waiting. He and T had baked it while I "slept in" and it had to be eaten immediately. Anyway, I hope you get to nap!! The necklace is amazing.

  18. That shit won't clean itself! I would have asked the hubby to do it considering you just ate chocolate cake...

  19. your hubs is pretty darn cool. why didn't he take you to the hotel with the creepy kid in it? because that would've been equally as cool. and a belated happy birthday to you, my dear. i hope that the chocolate cake was all sorts of bad ace.
