Dirty Birdie

Yesterday was a day out of the stale house and off to Grandma's, the grocery store, and Target.

(Aren't you glad you tuned in today?)

But wait, I'm about to get creative with my Photo Shop Paint skills.

You see, the highlight of my day (sigh) occurred in the car about 10 minutes into the day. The fates aligned me behind some old woman in a Pontiac at one of the six thousand traffic lights on the main strip. Sure, still sounds lame. I get it.

But is THIS lame? (!?!?!)

Ok, it might still look a little lame. I have to say I'm a bit dismayed by the quality of the camera-phone photograph I took while operating a motor vehicle. Because this is what it looked like to me:

I'm not quite sure how the inflatable toucan was attached to her car's interior, but it was there. Hanging out. Like it freaking owned the place. Arrogant S-O-B if you ask me.

I can't wait for Spring.

BONUS: For further consideration, which is more of a traffic hazard? That ridiculous woman and her bird or the ridiculous woman behind her taking a picture? (Well, come on. It was a red light!)

  1. birds are weird in general, but to have an inflatable one inside your car is something i can't begin to understand. how could anyone possibly see a blow-up bird and decide that it would make a nice accessory, a little something to make you happy while in your car?
